Madison County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the White Plains Wildcats 1-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

White Plains' batters probably weren't too happy with Savannah McGilton, who pitched a no hitter (she gave up two walks).

At the plate, Madison County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. That's the most hits Stewart has posted over her last 11 contests.

Madison County's victory bumped their record up to 32-12. As for White Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-18.

As of now, neither Madison County nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
