Volleyball Recap: Salinas Takes a Loss

If Salinas was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Everett Alvarez last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Salinas Cowboys fell just short of the Lowell Cardinals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Salinas now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lowell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Salinas and Lowell will both be playing Hillsdale the next time they take the court. Salinas will host Hillsdale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Lowell will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
