Omaha Central is 9-1 against Millard South since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Omaha Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evan Rodgers, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lenox Haynes, who had ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Millard South strolled past Bellevue East with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 75-59. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Millard South found their leader in sophomore Carter Margheim, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 boards. Those 23 points gave Margheim a new career-high. Bernie Anderson was another key player, putting up 14 points along with five assists and five boards.

Millard South now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Omaha Central, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Omaha Central has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.7 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Millard South struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.3 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.

Omaha Central didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Millard South in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 59-55 win. Will Omaha Central repeat their success, or does Millard South have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
