Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 54-28 to the Watertown Arrows. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Arrows from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Lincoln's record now sits at 1-11. As for Watertown, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Lincoln and Watertown could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. Lincoln (ranked 114th) will meet Brookings (ranked 34th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Watertown will take on Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 72 places (82 vs. 10).
