Climax-Scotts waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Martin Clippers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since May 2nd.

Climax-Scotts let Holly Talbert and Kendal Reitz run wild. Talbert went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run, while Reitz went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Talbert has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Gilbert, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Climax-Scotts now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Martin, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Coming up, Climax-Scotts will face off against St. Patrick at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Martin, they will host Hackett Catholic Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
