Basketball Recap: Minnesota Valley Lutheran Drops Season-High Score on Loyola/Kato/Mankato Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minnesota Valley Lutheran). They walked away with a 74-66 win over Loyola/Kato/Mankato Christian Academy on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Loyola/Kato/Mankato Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Minnesota Valley Lutheran will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Maple River at 7:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Loyola/Kato/Mankato Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
