Recap: Thunder Basin Bolts vs. Rock Springs Tigers
The Thunder Basin Bolts took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (barely). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Rock Springs 35-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Thunder Basin also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Kambel Cox was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Kendrick, who scored 8 points.
Thunder Basin's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Rock Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Thunder Basin won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cody at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Rock Springs, they will face off against Buffalo at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
