Volleyball Recap: Whippany Park Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Whippany Park faced off against Hackettstown on Friday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Whippany Park dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hackettstown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Whippany Park is taking a road trip to square off against Morris Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hackettstown, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pequannock on the 20th.
