Soccer Game Preview: Mexico vs. Kirksville

The Mexico Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Kirksville Tigers at 6:40 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Mexico didn't have quite enough to beat Blair Oaks and fell 2-1. Mexico have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Kirksville lost 4-1 to Moberly on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Kirksville were already down 3-0.

Mexico's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Kirksville, they dropped their record down to 7-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Mexico skirted past Kirksville 2-1 when the teams last played on April 2nd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
