Recap: Wooster Colts vs. Chaparral Cowboys
The Wooster Colts struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Wednesday (the Chaparral Cowboys were 30% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Wooster fell 54-44 to Chaparral. Wooster has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jamal Gaitor and Jared Marquicias certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Gaitor dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Marquicias scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Gaitor has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played.
It was another big night for Qualib Ghallab, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 16 rebounds for Chaparral. The match was Ghallab's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Javon Williams, who scored nine points.
Wooster now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Chaparral, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
