Volleyball Recap: Nevis Takes a Loss

Nevis lost against Fillmore Central back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Falcons. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Nevis was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-6.

Josie Corson had a dynamite game For Fillmore Central., getting 22 digs and two aces. Corson has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 23 times she's played.

Nevis' defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Fillmore Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season.

Nevis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fillmore Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cleveland on the 8th.
