Softball Recap: Randle Takes a Loss

Randle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 8-5 to the Victoria East Titans.

Randle saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alysa Chapa, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Randle's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Victoria East, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Randle will venture away from home to take on Victoria West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Victoria East, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cuero at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cuero will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Victoria East surely won't give up without a fight.
