Baseball Recap: Norwich Takes a Loss

Norwich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-4 to the Seton Catholic Central Saints. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Purple Tornado who fell 4-2 when the teams previously met back in April of 2023.

Norwich saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Olds, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Kolbey Redenback, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Norwich's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Seton Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Norwich will take on Johnson City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seton Catholic Central, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Susquehanna Valley on the 14th.
