Volleyball Game Preview: Conestoga Cougars vs. Plattsmouth Blue Devils

The Conestoga Cougars will face off against the Plattsmouth Blue Devils on Tuesday. Plattsmouth took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Conestoga, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Conestoga beat Arlington 2-0. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Conestoga easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Plattsmouth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Louisville.

Plattsmouth was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 25-23.

Plattsmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Conestoga, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Conestoga was able to grind out a solid win over Plattsmouth in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
