Basketball Recap: Colebrook Academy Beats Pittsburg for Their Third Straight Victory

Colebrook Academy took a 20-point loss the last time they faced off against Pittsburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Colebrook Academy Mohawks skirted past the Pittsburg Panthers 44-41. While the Mohawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win was the third in a row for Colebrook Academy, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Pittsburg, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Colebrook Academy will head out to challenge Woodsville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pittsburg, they will welcome Lin-Wood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pittsburg's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Lin-Wood's offense will have their work cut out for them.
