Game recap: Falls City High School Football Team defeats Milano

MILANO, Texas - Falls City (Texas) snapped the six-game winning streak of Milano (Texas), with a 43-0 victory on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Justin Twine in the first quarter, the Beavers were up 28-0 at the half.

Falls City expanded its lead to 43 points entering the fourth quarter. FC scored two times in the third, including once on a Twine touchdown run.

With the win the Beavers extended their winning streak to 12 games. Falls City defeated D'Hanis 53-0 last week.



Falls City came into the game allowing 5.1 points per game. The zero points that the Eagles ended with were well below their average of 30.8 coming into the game. Milano came in giving up 16.4 points per game this season. MHS had a hard time against Falls City's offense, which entered the game scoring 48.0 points per game.

The loss comes after Milano defeated Bruni 44-22 last week.
