Baseball Game Preview: St. Michael's Warriors vs. Antonian Prep Apaches

The St. Michael's Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Antonian Prep Apaches at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Michael's has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Last Tuesday, St. Michael's beat Antonian Prep 17-14.

Will Garcia was a standout: he fired off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Jacob Garcia was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Will wasn't the only one working in the hit department: St. Michael's kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

St. Michael's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12. As for Antonian Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8-1.
