Basketball Recap: Nampa Comes Up Short

Nampa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Middleton Vikings and fell 69-30. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Vikings are ranked 22nd).

Nampa's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Middleton, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Nampa and Emmett will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middleton, they will face off against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Middleton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Columbia likes a good challenge.
