Football Game Preview: Grace Lancers vs. Del Sol Jaguars

For the first time this season, Grace will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After each having a week off, they and the Del Sol Jaguars will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Grace is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 40 points on September 12th, they were much more limited against Brentwood School last Friday. They were beaten by the Eagles 40-7. The contest marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Del Sol fell victim to Royal and their airtight defense last Friday. They had to suffer through a 37-0 loss at the hands of the Highlanders.

Del Sol's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Grace, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
