Basketball Recap: Sycamore Takes a Loss

Sycamore was the 58-40 winner over Harlem when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Sycamore Spartans fell to the Harlem Huskies 44-38.

Sycamore has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Harlem, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sycamore will venture away from home to square off against Hampshire at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harlem, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rockford East at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
