Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask MICDS). They blew past the Lutheran South Lancers 54-21 on Friday. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Lancers are ranked 288th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

MICDS now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lutheran South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MICDS will host St. Dominic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lutheran South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Confluence Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
