Volleyball Game Preview: Vasquez Mustangs vs. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins

After both having extra time off, the Vasquez Mustangs and The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vasquez will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Vasquez made easy work of Rosamond and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-16.

Meanwhile, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy came up short against Desert Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While The Palmdale Aerospace Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Desert Christian work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 29-27, 25-19.

The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Vasquez, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Vasquez skirted past The Palmdale Aerospace Academy 1-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Does Vasquez have another victory up their sleeve, or will The Palmdale Aerospace Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
