Baseball Recap: Chesterfield Triumphs

Chesterfield took a 12-run loss the last time they faced off against Lewisville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Golden Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions on Thursday, sneaking past 3-1. For the Golden Rams, this counts as revenge for the 13-1 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

The team relied heavily on Sky Courtney, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Chesterfield is undefeated when Courtney posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise.

Chesterfield pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
