Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Central Cass walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Beulah Miners on Friday, sneaking past 12-11. The Squirrels haven't had any issues with the Miners recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Central Cass' win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Beulah, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-4 record.

Central Cass has already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Kindred on the 30th. As for Beulah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Velva/Drake/Anamoose on the 30th.
