Baseball Game Preview: Central Linn Cobras vs. Regis Rams

Central Linn hasn't had much luck against Regis recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Central Linn will welcome Regis at 4:30 p.m. Central Linn has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Central Linn is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They lost 16-1 to Burns.

Central Linn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Thornton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Regis faced Oakridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Regis fell just short of Oakridge by a score of 1-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Regis and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Central Linn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Central Linn suffered a grim 13-6 defeat to Regis in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can Central Linn avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
