Basketball Game Preview: Ferguson Falcons vs. TERRA Environmental

Having just played yesterday, the Ferguson Falcons will head out on the road to face off against TERRA Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. TERRA Environmental took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ferguson, who comes in off a win.

Ferguson will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Lourdes Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Ferguson walked away with a 43-33 victory over Lourdes Academy on Tuesday. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Lourdes Academy are ranked 239th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, TERRA Environmental managed to keep up with Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart until halftime back in December of 2024, but things quickly went downhill from there. TERRA Environmental took a blow against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, falling 55-16. The loss continues a trend for TERRA Environmental in their matchups with Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart: they've now lost four in a row.

Celeste Teboe was TERRA Environmental's leading scorer, having posted four points.

TERRA Environmental's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ferguson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Ferguson beat TERRA Environmental 47-34 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ferguson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
