Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Izard County Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly ten runs.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Izard County, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-5.

Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Tuckerman on the 10th. As for Izard County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 win against Mammoth Spring on the 10th.
