Soccer Recap: Tarrant Comes Up Short

Tarrant managed to keep up with American Christian Academy until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tarrant Wildcats lost 5-2 to the American Christian Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 two weeks ago.

Tarrant has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. American Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. Tarrant has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. American Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northside at 7:30 p.m. on March 21st.
