Football Recap: Pueblo County Falls to Pueblo West in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Pueblo County had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 39-34 to the Pueblo West Cyclones on Friday. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Brody Harrison threw for 134 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. Brady Ware was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Pueblo West pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Pueblo County will square off against Arvada at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pueblo West, they will face off against Pomona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
