Soccer Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Montgomery Academy Eagles, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Auburn were already down 5-0.

Auburn now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Montgomery Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3-1.

Auburn didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against St. Anne-Pacelli on the 28th. As for Montgomery Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Montgomery Catholic on the 27th.
