Northview entered their tilt with Wayland on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Wayland. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Northview's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Wayland, they dropped their record down to 4-21 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Northview and Wayland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Wildcats will challenge Rockford at 8:30 a.m. on the 25th with a big rank disadvantage (71 vs. 1). Meanwhile, Wayland (ranked 371st) will meet West Catholic (ranked 126th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
