Ellinwood put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Stanton County Trojans by a score of 2-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ellinwood took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-7.

Mette Maxwell paced Ellinwood's offense, picking up nine kills. Maxwell got some help from Alyvia Batchman and her ten assists. Regan Widener controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Ellinwood's victory bumped their record up to 40-0. As for Stanton County, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 19-17.

Ellinwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stanton County, they will venture away from home to square off against Medicine Lodge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
