Baseball Recap: Seneca East Comes Up Short

Seneca East lost against Edison back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 7-3 to the Chargers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Braydon Robinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Seneca East's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Nicolas Parks, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Seneca East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Edison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.

Coming up, Seneca East will head out to square off against Riverdale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Edison, they will host Upper Sandusky at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
