While losing is never fun, West Brunswick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while Ashley are ranked seventh).

West Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Ashley, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0-2.

Looking ahead, West Brunswick will face off against Hoggard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Brunswick will need to watch out since Hoggard has now posted at least four goals in their last five matchups. As for Ashley, they will take on Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
