Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Deer Valley Wolverines.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Deer Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against South San Francisco on the 15th. As for Deer Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Granada on the 15th.
