Baseball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-8 to the Greene County Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Tuesday.

Carson Brown made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Greene County, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Greene County beat Bay by a score of 16-1 later that day.
