Volleyball Recap: Northgate Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northgate can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Woodward Academy War Eagles on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Northgate's defeat dropped their record down to 22-23. As for Woodward Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-6 record this season.

Northgate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodward Academy, they will take on Pope on Saturday.
