Softball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short at Home Against Lancaster

Sunset unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-3 to the Lancaster Tigers on Tuesday. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Lancaster's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Sunset will square off against Chico at 12:30 p.m. on February 13th. As for Lancaster, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Lancaster Tigers duke it out with the North Crowley Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
