Football Game Recap: East Ridge Knights vs. West Port Wolf Pack

The East Ridge Knights were the 7-6 winner over the West Port Wolf Pack when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. East Ridge ended up on the wrong side of a tough 35-14 walloping at the hands of West Port on Friday. East Ridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

West Port's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nasir Allen, who rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Those 134 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Allen. Dedrick Grady also helped out with an impressive 122 receiving yards.

East Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for West Port, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 6-3.

East Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Port is also done with their season.
