It was fun while it lasted, but St. Petersburg's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Friday. They and the Northeast Vikings finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Green Devils happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Their goal came courtesy of Gianni Inman, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, St. Petersburg's record moves to 8-0-1. Meanwhile, Northeast's record is now 8-4-2.

St. Petersburg has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Petersburg Catholic on the 20th. As for Northeast, they won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Tampa Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Tampa Prep's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Northeast's offense will have their work cut out for them.
