There's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sikeston Bulldogs a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for Central, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Sikeston, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will welcome St. Pius X at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sikeston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DeSoto at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. DeSoto will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sikeston surely won't give up without a fight.
