Volleyball Recap: North Reading Victorious + How To Watch

North Reading hadn't done well against Newburyport recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Hornets came out on top against the Clippers by a score of 3-1. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Clippers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

North Reading had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

North Reading's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Newburyport, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

As for Newburyport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Marblehead on the 5th.
