Preview: High Point Christian Academy Cougars vs. Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans

The High Point Christian Academy Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, High Point Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Calvary Day School on the road to the tune of 60-9. Given High Point Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Calvary Day School is ranked 450th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kylie Torrence was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. She hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games.
Meanwhile, Wesleyan Christian Academy entered their tilt with Jefferson Christian Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Wesleyan Christian Academy took down Jefferson Christian Academy 69-52 on Tuesday.
The win makes it two in a row for High Point Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 18-3. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.
High Point Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Wesleyan Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 43-37 win.
