Baseball Recap: Loyola College Prep Snags Tenth Victory in Last 13 Games

Loyola College Prep got themselves on the board against Converse on Monday, but Converse never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flyers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

The result came thanks to Hayden Horton's shutout, as he gave up just two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kingston Adams, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Black, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Adams wasn't the only one making solid contact: Loyola College Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
