Volleyball Recap: Whitmire Takes a Loss

Whitmire lost against Laurens Academy on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolverines took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitmire's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Laurens Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Whitmire is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Ware Shoals at 6:15 p.m. on the 25th. This will be the Wolverines' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Laurens Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mid-Carolina on the 16th.
