Soccer Recap: Round Valley Comes Up Short

Round Valley lost against Show Low back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elks came up short against the Cougars, falling 6-0.

Round Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Show Low, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Round Valley will face off against Winslow at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Round Valley will be up against Winslow's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.17 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Show Low, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 win against Blue Ridge on the 20th.
