Football Recap: Yarmouth Comes Up Short on the Road Against Mt. Ararat + How To Watch

Yarmouth kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 42-20 to the Mt. Ararat Eagles. Despite 229 more yards than the Eagles, the Clippers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Several Clippers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ignatius (Iggy) McGrath, who threw for 329 yards and three TDs. Adam Pelotte was (Iggy) McGrath's top target, picking up 109 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Yarmouth didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 64-38 victory against Cape Elizabeth on the 13th. As for Mt. Ararat, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 30-20 defeat against Camden Hills on the 13th.
