Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Madeline Miller and Kate Wilson Lead Lutheran to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rock Canyon, Lutheran was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mead Mavericks. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Mavericks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Lutheran to victory were Kate Wilson and Madeline Miller. Wilson had seven digs and four aces, while Miller had 13 digs and one assist. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 18 games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mead only served four.

Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Mead, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Lutheran has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Windsor on the 1st. As for Mead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Mullen on the 1st.
