Santa Fe kept up with Eldorado until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Golden Eagles never let the Demons get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering Eldorado have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Santa Fe with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma Gurule, Hayden Young, and Chloe Stafford.

The win (which was Eldorado's third in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Santa Fe, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eldorado will take on rival Sandia at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Santa Fe is set to challenge their familiar foe La Cueva at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
