Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foothill). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Barlow Bruins a 17-0 shutout on Thursday. Give the Knights' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Foothill got a great performance from Brayden Bianchi as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Bianchi has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Evrett Rycroft was a standout: he scored three runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Seiji Horimachi also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
